Breaking up leaves people in a temporary state of depression that feels as though it has no end. Moving on after a bad breakup is never an easy task, and there is no real timeline for what is acceptable. When you have suffered through a bad breakup, you still need to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get back in the game.

If you do not play, you cannot win. This is a guarantee.

A bad breakup can cripple you emotionally, and render you useless for a brief period of time. This time, however, must pass, and you need to get back up on that horse, and ride again. The only thing you can do to move on after a bad breakup is to learn from that relationship. Some lessons are harder to learn than others, but in the end they all help us to hone our search for the perfect mate.

As long as you can figure out what went wrong, and why, then you will be better able to fend for yourself once a new relationship begins. It is imperative to erase all of the negativity from your mind once you have healed from your bad breakup. Remember the positives of the relationship, and figure out how to best improve upon them the next time around.

The key to remember with a bad breakup is that it is better to have happened now than down the road any further. While they certainly cause heartache and grief, they are learning curves. Take some time to rejuvenate your soul, and then become proactive, rather than idly sitting by and lamenting lost love.

When your heart has been torn asunder, and it seems that there is no conceivable reason to even arise in the morning, you need to grab yourself by the bootstraps and yank. In order to move on after a bad breakup, you must not give in to the wallowing and self pity loathing that suffocates a large portion of the dating populace. Forgive and forget, and move along swiftly.

Bad breakups are part and parcel of the dating realm, and they do not differ much from breakups that aren't deemed to be bad. Any breakup is bad, since your belief system has been shattered, and your self esteem has taken a massive blow. Some breakups, however, are beyond bad, and can be detrimental to a person.

Moving on is the only remedy for what ails these folks. Try to find the silver lining in the breakup, and thank your lucky stars to be free and clear of that relationship.

Time heals all wounds, as the old proverb states. This is true, but this is not often a viable option for those people suffering from the trauma of having their livelihood yanked out from beneath
