There's nothing like dining with the Mouse.
When in Disney, don't pass up the opportunity to dine at one of Walt Disney World's excellent restaurants. Disney has always had a reputation for taking the lead and outdoing itself, and when it comes to dining, it's incomparable. With so many choices among fast food, character, full service, and formal dining, don't be surprised if your waistlines have expanded a little after a visit with Mickey Mouse.
Fast Food: How many popcorn stands, candy stands, McDonald's, fried turkey legs, and snacks stands can you count while in Disney? For a quick bite while you're in the parks (or even in the resorts), you won't have to travel very far. And who can resist those adorable fudgesicles shaped like Mickey?
Character dining: By far my most favorite, character dining offers everyone a great opportunity to get some great food and some personal attention from some of Disney's most beloved characters. If you don't get to go to one of the parks but you're in the Orlando area, try to arrange for one character dining experience if you have little ones who want to see some of their favorite animated friends. For some fun with Winnie the Pooh and friends, visit the Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom. It is one of the prettiest restaurants in Disney and you will love the topiaries trimmed like Pooh, Tigger, and Piglet. Children will love taking part of the parade led by Tigger.
Nothing tops eating inside Cinderella castle, though. The inside of the castle is absolutely beautiful, with stained glass windows and mosaic tiles that illustrate scenes from the story. You get a portrait package with Cinderella herself, and her friends walk around and make some time for autographs, hugs, and giggles while you dine on some of the most delicious food in Disney. Be sure to book in advance, because this is one of the most popular (and expensive!) dining destinations in Disney.
Full Service: Just because you're in a theme park, don't think you'll be forced to only hot dogs and popcorn all day. There are many restaurants scattered throughout the parks. If you don't want to go the parks, you can even dine in one of the Disney resorts. You don't have to be staying in a Disney resort to be able to dine in one the security guards will issue you temporary parking pass if you drive in, and you'll be on your way! At Disney's Polynesian Resort is Ohana, a family-oriented restaurant that is excellent in atmosphere. The wait staff
