Poetry: Life & death

by Kendra Allen

Created on: June 23, 2009

How faint the line which now divides
A person's life and death;
No louder than a heartbeat's song
Or deeper than a breath.

So fragile is that narrow line,
Yet strong for all our sakes;
Eternity is held at bay
Until the day it breaks.
