Ocean Sands doesn't rival The Hilton by any standards, but it's a decent hotel nonetheless. Rooms are slightly above standard and have VCR's and DVD players to watch movies at feel at home. The 104 air-conditioned units have ocean views but no balconies.

Kids will enjoy the fee excursions to the zoo and historic Williamsburg. Activities for the entire family to enjoy include a visit to the Virginia Marine Science Museum and a short trip over to the fishing pier.

For adults, on-site amenities include a health club as well as a sauna, and two sundecks. An indoor pool, a tiki deck, and a Jacuzzi will ease your troubles away. Airbrush tanning is also offered.
