Poetry: Everlasting embrace

by Cherrie Palmer

Created on: June 23, 2009

lips lingering too each other, kisses warm the soul
embrace laced tight, chases our breath away
hands eager to learn, search for answers to the heart
feet entwined together shed any desire for flight
peace sweeps through the mind, as passion stirs the blood
sleep finds the entwined, a lovers embrace not soon to be undone
