Ideal gifts between $50 and $200 for women

There are some relatively inexpensive gifts that you can buy that will suit nearly any woman. They are suitable for women of any age, marital status or personality type and will reflect how well you know the woman based on your choice.

Gifts I would recommend as a deal include:

- Earrings: can reflect personality and style and a much safer option that rings, bracelets and necklaces as they don't depend on size, and trendy earrings can update old outfits to the new fashion! - Perfume: most women love perfume but its not something they would always buy themselves, a lot of designer ranges also have gift packs which are always a charming novelty! - Books: it is easy to buy a suitable book by either finding the book their favourite film is based on or the biography of an artist or celebrity they admire, books are a great way to compliment a woman's intelligence! - Tickets: a great way to invest your money and your time (which is sometimes more valuable then you may realise), tickets to rock bands, a play, musical theatre, ballet, opera, contemporary dance, art exhibits, live comedy, cinema, dance parties, or even the zoo or the aquarium! - Hair dryer: all women use them and they have a short life as they always break or become faulty, a quality hairdryer is another of those luxuries a lot of women don't really buy themselves but would be appreciated!

Conversely, gifts i would steer clear of include:

- Flowers: shows a lack of thought and care, they are a useless and temporary present, the type of present you buy when you're running late or you're sorry, they wilt and die and make a mess, plus who really owns a vase? - Chocolates: a risk considering a lot of women diet or watch what they eat, same applies to cake, with food gifts everybody else tends to help themselves and it gets shared with the family, plus there are negative implications that you may consider the woman to be a piggy guts! (even if thats not your intention it may be interpreted that way) - Bath salts: soaps, bubble bath, body lotions etc can be of varying quality and have the potential to irritate skin, plus the functionality of things that actually require a bath as opposed to a shower . . . does she have a bathtub or the time or inclination to take a bath?
