Navyfield is a massively multiplayer online tactics simulation game. It is based off of World War II naval combat. It is completely free and a super fun game to play. Beware. It is very addicting. You can download it for free from navyfield.com through the download section.

Navyfield is an online game you play with real people from all over the world. From Australia, to England. You can play in over 100 different ships, outfitting them how you choose. In battle, you earn experience points, credits, and points. Use credits and points to upgrade and buy new ships, and improve your sailors. Outfit your ship with different types of guns. Including, deck guns, anti-aircraft guns, torpedo launchers, depth charges, and hedgehogs. Upgrade your ship with more armor, better engines, better fire control systems, and better ships. Load different shells into your guns. Light, medium, or heavy shells. Light do less damage, but longer range. Heavy shells do more damage but have less range. Load anti-aircraft shells into the right guns and now you have anti-aircraft firepower. Start out in a little, tiny frigate. Play the tutorial battles, or just start right up. Once you reach level 12, choose between 4 different nations, United States, United Kingdom, Japan, or Germany, each with different strengths and weaknesses. Each nation has a unique set of ships, sailors, guns, and pretty much everything about the ship. Once you have chosen your nation, you get your first ship from that nation. Choose what line of ships to go down, whether you want to play as a battleship, an aircraft carrier, or even a submarine.

Once you have chosen your ship, you just go back to battle. Ships under level 60, frigate(ff), destroyer(dd), light cruser(cl), heavy cruiser(ca), aircraft carrier(cv), battleship(bb), will usually go to the battle called blitzkrieg. Once you have a bigger ship, or if you just choose to, you can go to great battle. This is where all of the battleships and aircraft carriers will battle it out.

There are six tiers of carrier and battleship. Each has increased durability and displacement. To learn more about navyfield, go to navyfield.com and go to the information tab.

To start playing this game, go to the navyfield website, and click on the new account button. You will then be asked for some information and other such things. Register your account, and then download the game. Once you've downloaded, install it. Once installed, run the game, and login to your account. Then you will begin the game.
