An overview of the top undergraduate business schools in New Hampshire

Finding a undergraduate business school in New Hampshire may be a little tricky. Do you know what specifically you want to study, or do you just want to get your feet wet in business? While it's possible to find what you are looking for inside New Hampshire, knowing (or at least having a general idea of) what you want to study definitely helps minimize the searching process.

One of the most respected of the local business related colleges is Southern New Hampshire University. If you have an idea of what you want to study inside the business realm, this is one school that should be at the top of your list. With concentrations in various areas of business, from Finance/Economics to HR, it is surely to be the best place to get a more specialized concentration.

For general business degrees, there are plenty of other options, both public and private. The state university, University of New Hampshire, provides general degrees in business with a few concentrations. However, if cost is an issue, one must keep in mind that UNH is more expensive the SNHU even though SNHU offers more in depth coverage of business topics.

As far as private colleges, Franklin Pierce Universityis one of the biggest and most well known in the southern New Hampshire area which even provides its own law school (and only one in New Hampshire) if one decided to increase their education level and become a lawyer. Franklin Pierce has multiple locations throughout New Hampshire and it may be an option for those seeking to gain their education outside of the state university system.

Is money not an issue? Well, then maybe Ivy League schools might be your pick of choice. Home to its own Ivy League school, New Hampshire boasts having Dartmouth Collegein the western part of the state next to Vermont. What's in a name? A lot, especially in the realm of business. The inflated tuition could be looked at as an investment in your future because the name on the degree is going to set you apart from many of the others in the job market.

Depending on your financial ability, type of degree, and type of school; you still have many choices in the decision making process for New Hampshire colleges. Even with the small population and small "big" cities, New Hampshire still offers a high quality education when compared to states twice its size, making New Hampshire a very desirable location to study and obtain your degrees. When comparing all you options, New Hampshire should be one that is heavily considered before your decision is made.
