When 'creativity' and 'communication' are interrelated; end result will be 'successful'. Is this statement making sense? Let us see how.
'Success' translated in this article; a successful leader who lead a group of people who respect and trust his/her leadership skills , successful in his/her personal career growth to move to the next step of management ladder and successful leading his/her organization to be a better place to work with a better working culture.
Without effective communication; choosing your words carefully, setting up your positive attitude and image, steering others towards the same objective and influence others to understand your point of view, your creativity mind will be inactive.
Part of the effective leadership strategies, creativity is a must have trait for all leaders; creative mind, creative vision and creative leadership style. Creative is doing things differently.
You have to admit that not all leaders have a creative mind. Some of them may lead their people by the 'book', there is only 'yes' or 'no' answer. This type of leadership style will lead to a boring, unproductive and not challenging working environment.
Leaders must accept that since the new generations have entered the workforce. They are usually will have many questions; example; why 'yes', or why 'no' or 'can we do this way, etc.
And as a leader you must be ready with this type of employees. They can challenge you with your answers. You must have a creative and critical mind to answer their questions and to come out with a better and up-to-date solution/s. Worst scenario is when a leader says, "I have settled the same problem before, in 1980'. Everything has changed; technology has changed and people mindset has changed too. As an effective leader, you must accept it! Be more creative and critical in your thinking and in problem solving.
Use your creativity to solve problems, foresee future needs and make sure you are better compared to your people. Think differently, think creatively, promote and influence your team to do the same. Let's explore the new way of thinking; use your challenge mind. Suggest to the organization to promote a better and healthy working culture to be a "culture of innovation and new ideas".
