Anticipation boils, a blistering irritation in the pit of my stomach just begging to be soothed into oblivion. My fingers twitch, but I refrain because there's only one way I can silence these pesky little sensations. Not much longer now. Excitement gathers, an impenetrable knot collecting in the base of my stomach as my wide, sparkling irises gaze up at the mosh-posh of instruments laid haphazardly about a humble, cluttered stage. My lungs feel restricted, the heavy, moist air tossed into this congested building is so thick with other strangers' breath that my lungs have trouble circulating, but it hardly fazes me. It's the rush, that abnormally thick liquid pounds through my veins, rehearses that familiar ditty in my eardrums, blots out nearly all pointless chatter around me. The pulse makes my body ache to move, but not yet...Only a little while longer. Anxiousness; unneeded, unwelcomed, uninvited-unseen through this flawless facade crunches itself into the curious tangle of pure elation. I feel sick, but in an unnaturally fantastic way. A thought filters in through my head, why does uncondensed joy feel so nauseating? Before I can mull it over, a collection of admired strangers absorb my full attention as they find their homes amidst the instruments. One adorable dark haired boy wields his keytar and makes his way to the mic. Immediately, instantaneously, as if his presence alone set a bomb off in the hollows of the room-waves of bodies begin to pile onto my back. The wall of bodies urges me along with hundreds of other fanatic fans, closer. I want nothing more but to comply. Vibrations tickle through my veins as a cheery, melodic spoken greeting resounds all too clearly in my eardrums, tremors of unimaginable delight courses through every individual nerve. It's almost time. Tiny explosions of sensation erupt over my buzzing flesh as I fall victim to the uncontrolled poetic assault, lost to the power of each fluid word as they flow from a mysterious foreigner's lips...
