a swollen minefield,
pregnant with mangled swirls of harsh violet and faded yellows,
warring insatiably,
cruel, selfish monstrosities, threatening to swallow the feeble, ivory battle ground whole.
devouring, corrupt collage,
painted on an unbelievably fragile canvas,
acrylics bleeding, absorbing into the delicate tarpaulin.
the wielder of the brush, an atrocious degenerate...
a common cliche?
or a reality as tangible as you and i?
colorless ruffled curtains repelling any aspect of future,
metallic locks confining darkness, containing an emptiness so pure,
this noble black chariot...
vacant prison, no escape, no reentry...
decorative tangled mass,
affliction framed by a deceiving display of feathers,
dominating appendages, stretching out,
yearning for dreams...aspirations.......successfully abducting each.
blind plush teddy,
scarred from countless beatings,
precise hem torn, ripped apart over and over...
blemished flesh disregarded, ignored, pushed aside
just another convieniant hip decoration?
a common cliche?
or a reality as tangible as you and i?
