What did we do prior to the nanny-cam? It is devastating to even think about leaving children with someone, especially those who are not family members, or someone you do not trust, without a nanny-cam.

It is very sad that we have to film what is going on when we leave our children with a babysitter; but the times have changed drastically, in that people are violating children at an all time high. We are unclear as to why!

Men are not the only ones who are abusing children sexually and physically; women are also doing the same thing. So it is wise to keep the nanny-cam going whenever you leave your children with another person.

There have been many cases where women have been seen on the nanny-cam severely beating the child and even throwing it on the floor; however, they deny it when you inquire, until it is shown on camera.

It is also beneficial in case you have to fire the babysitter, to be able to show the film in court. It is beneficial should the sitter decide to file for unemployment or to file a wrongful termination, that you have the details on film.

All parents who have children should have a nanny-cam, and it should run the entire time that the parents are not with the children. You can also check on the children from time-to-time while you are away.

Although some might think it is a way to spy; it is a way to protect your family. It comes in various sizes, is economical, and it can be hidden. There are some that look like a small calculator, so the nanny is not aware that it is a camera. There are some that can be placed in a flower pot.

Surveillance is very important now, and even when you are home; you can check on your own family. It is not just used for spying on other people, if you are in another room; you might want to install more than one for a large home. For example, if you are working in the kitchen, you can place one in the child's bedroom to check on the child from time-to-time.

Nanny-cams are not expensive, and they definitely pay for their usage when you think of how important your family is. You can also use the cam for "spying" on your teen-agers. There are some children who try to be sexual with other young children. They should be aware that they are being watched while playing in their rooms with other friends.

Although "spying" on our family is a fairly new thing, it is a way to protect those we love. The benefits far outweigh the cost of a nanny-cam.
