Scrapbooking as become very popular not only with adults but also with children. A scrapbooking crop party is when you invite family, friends, seasoned scrap bookers and newbie's to your home to share in the fun of scrapbooking, when you all get together it is called a crop. A scrapbooking party can be the high light of your day and can bring many prizes for you and for your guest. There is some planning that you need to organize a scrapbooking party but even that part can be fun.

Scrapbooking representative

The first thing you will have to do is hook up with a scrapbooking representative. It can be from a company of your choice. They will make arrangements to be at your party to give information about their newest products and introduce the new scrap bookers to the products they will need to start their projects.

Invitations

Make a list of things you have to do as a hostess. When you have decided on a date that you will have your party you will need to send out your invitations. Don't send out just any invitation take time to make them yourself by incorporating some of your scrapbooking techniques that you have learned. The invitations doesn't have to be elaborate they can be made with some of the scraps you have on hand, keep it simple and this will give your guest a taste of what fun is ahead at the party. The more guest you have the better it will go over. The standard limit is fourteen which is perfect to enjoy the evening ahead and not become overwhelming when you're making the invitations.

Hosting a party

As a hostess you want to serve your guest refreshments during the evening. These are usually tidbits with a beverage. A good rule of thumb is not to serve anything that is sticky or messy. This could mean that one or two of your guest could end up ruining their work. Try to stick to small sandwiches or cheese and crackers, anything that is easy to handle and to wipe your fingers clean after eating. As for the beverage it can be anything such as tea, coffee, juice or maybe a little wine if you're planning to take a break from scrapbooking, this may lighten up your party a wee bit!

Seating set-up

Next comes the seating. Set up enough chairs for everyone and maybe even a few extra. Have a main table placed in an appropriate place for the company's representative to display her products. Having a few small TV tables placed around the room would also be useful. Clear off your largest table for your guest to work on when the scrapbooking begins. The
