Precious Moments

Internally our clock beats to a rhythm of its own inherent measure
With life's dismay we glorify fleeting time containing displeasure.
Rhythmic patterns ever so elusive are compromising this treasure
An insight with hastened efforts of our achievement give leisure.

Where may it be written for an understanding of the world we live
If all that remains is an infinite dimension the equivalence a sieve.
A citation has freely been given with a sacrifice that may forgive
Unto those that have attained a peace aforementioned to relive.

A charmed and blessed existence a gift eternal for those who wait
Ever watchful to reminisce within a prayer for this ecstatic state.
Here lays mystery when one has been shown a way to translate
A knowledge that is key of the spirit without regard for debate.

As with a precious moment a cherished gift that has been returned
To nevermore follow suit with acute disdain for what is unearned.
May a life never fall short a proper recognition which is burned
Into the heart, mind and soul of every person that is concerned.
