Anxiety/panic: An obsession Part (2)

(A synopsis)

There are many explanations describing anxiety disorder, I found through the years that symptoms of anxiety and panic are virtually the same for everyone, however the triggers which start the process number in the thousands and if something exists, whether word or place or thought, it may end up being a potential trigger for someone!

It is an important point of fact, anyone suffering from anxiety disorder in any form including panic attacks, agoraphobia,depression etc., and that they believe they understand the mechanics of anxiety disorder and how it works and are still suffering anxiety or panic episodes, I am sorry to say they really do not! The fact of the matter is, as much as most of us think we know, we simply do not, with all respect, if that were the case there would be far fewer cases of anxiety disorder and panic attacks among us!

How often had I wondered over those dark times what had taken over my mind and body, what was wrong with me and why? For the years of fear that had me living a psychedelic nightmare that I could not control, and the thousands of terrifying panic attacks which I thought happened at random and did not, as I was to find out too late to spare me the daily trauma of terrifying panic. The uncontrollable manic behavior that was created in me had become some frightening illness that gripped me and so many others

No one could explain what had taken over my life, and why, (the word why had become such a consuming question for me without and answer) I suffered such frightening episodes of anxiety and panic! To make it more difficult, why are we struck with the inability to explain our unfortunate symptoms? No doctor who attended me could ever explain my terrifying panic attacks with anything beyond the clinical results of tests taken to make sure I had not suffered a heart attack!

The answer is as elusive to doctors as it is to its victims, doctors have no way of experiencing the frightening mindset that becomes the terrified world we live in.

Until that happens there can be no headway in the battle of the numbers of the leading mental disorder in our country.

That of course is hogwash, each and every one who is overtaken by anxiety has to set aside denial and simply follow the simple formula, change the way you think and what you think of, and change your life! If anyone
