Tuesday night is made extra special for the younger family members, as the Silver diner holds their weekly kid's night every Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm. Chick's Oyster Bar

Everyone seems to enjoy the great Oyster Stew and Crab Cakes at Chick's Oyster bar. There are plenty of other seafood selections to be found on the menu as well.

What makes this place such a great place to dine with children is the fact that it is right on the inlet so the kid's can have a great time waving to all the passing boaters as they wait for their dinner. For the more active child there is a dock they can wander up and down on to keep them amused until their food arrives.

As everyone knows a busy child is less apt to get fidgety. While the kids are entertaining themselves Mom and Dad can relax and enjoy the view.

This restaurant combines great sandwiches, with terrific salads and desserts. The sandwiches are very large and well stacked so you might want to consider splitting one between a couple of younger children, or else get a to go bag for late night snacking.

They also serve breakfast all day, which is a plus if your child prefers French toast or eggs to anything on the dinner menu.

There are also live music shows to help keep the entire family entertained. Teen agers especially like this restaurant as it is very teen friendly.
