The shards of glass cut my feet
as I dodge them in my path
I make my way humbly to you
My dignity severed by your wrath
I bow my head in self-immolation
for a person who isn't deserving
You take for granted the love I give
as you laugh at my humilation
No more will I take the abuse by your words
I won't say yes to the simple and absurd
The reigns are now cut and freedom is mine
You will be lonely now and I'll be doing fine
Goodbye to the pain that you wore
as a medal around your hateful neck
Goodbye to the tears that I cried
and the feelings that will be hard to forget
I'm free...now...finally at last
I walk away from you
and I won't ever look back.

Poetry: Good-bye
Rays of sunlight glimpse through the window,
And dance upon your skin,
As I place a kiss upon your wrinkled brow.
I watch each
The time is here to leave this place, never to return.
Everyone, they make mistakes, and this is how they learn.
The struggles
Petals wade through air
Something more permanent remains:
Leaves
But everlasting are the roots
That we grew here
Together.
Don’t

A night to remember,
Silvery moon pearling the air,
So bright resembling a shimmering orb,
Gazing solemnly at the earth,
by Sue Bluze
Today I finally woke up to see
You are not the right guy for me
I love you more that I can say
But you don't seem to see me
