Choice: What is a choice and who among us (i.e. Human Beings) are free to chose among the pre-defined variant choices offered? The crux of the matter concerning the concept of choice concerning Sexual Preference seeks to create a precedent for a standard of Deviation from a normative quasi-logical or reasonable Baseline from which these "choices" are said to emanate from.
The issue at hand seems to be about choices, the narrative that has played out over and over for the time it has been a point of contention muddies the waters of the underlying issue(s) at large, those being first and foremost what is considered normative and non-deviant, not to be confused with criminalized status in nature, nor to be misconstrued as undeniably wrong, but to give to a pre-determined segment of society the honor of Standardized Right-hood, and the rest Deviant Status.
So to that end, the question in the backs of so many minds, isn't about right or wrong, but about what will become the measure against which we define ourselves further into inscrutable categorical nomenclature further to satisfy an end to this bizarre debacle.
The reason that this question of Sexual Preference, i.e. sexual identity choice exists at all, is not necessarily because there is, or isn't a choice in the matter, rather it is because the people who are defined as the choosers, and the chosen are at odds with the treatment and stigma of examination on high from the lofty Human Perch of reproach.
If there were no issue, either in lawful application to punish those seen as deviators of the "norm", if there were not persons willing and able to punish those seen as different or removed from their special elect spheres based upon examination of personally identifiable traits associated with activity, or outward self-expression, and if the people who reside in self-righteous indignation that they must abide by new standards of personal accountability and no longer enjoy Normative Status and share their place in a newly tangled hierarchy with those who were historically okay to regard as outsiders, who then would be the collectively unconscious scapegoats to vet their fierce oppositions toward to further personal agenda and gain as a platform to change naught, but those around them.
What if there were litmus tests to determine Sexual Preference? Would that make the argument go away? Would the civil unrest among the human community
