Amendment One of the Constitution protects our freedom of speech, but for way to long the liberal left and their pundits have abused this Constitutional Right, and like predators they lurk in the shadows waiting to pounce on any opposing authority or idea, in order to fill their political appetites. People like Mr.Letterman are lacking the moral convictions our forefathers expected their descendent's to attain and utilize. What in the world is there to gain by bashing a teenager? Nothing! That is what seems so very sad in our society, that some are willing to abuse those precious rights, that thousands upon thousands of Americans fought so bravely to provide. Where is the humor in the horrific exploitation of this young woman's personal affairs? There is none and there is no excuse!

Why is this such a travesty? Because it goes beyond a few laughs and giggles, this by far transcends the threshold of mere entertainment; to exploit for political and propaganda purposes is inexcusable. A statement to Mr. Letterman: It is the freedom of SPEECH, not the freedom to be a LEECH, stop sucking the blood of blood bought RIGHTS. While Letterman and the left continue to abuse the first Amendment, who is protecting the other Amendments, that those behind Letterman are tearing away, behind the stage walls and green screens, in the security of their sound proof boxes. I bet that the daughter of Gov. Sarah Palin wished she had one of those to hide in at times, Where is her security? Where is her Rights? I will tell you where; the rights of this young lady are on the bottom of David Letterman's shoes and there is no security when the mainstream media is politically or ideologically opposed to you. What an abuse of the Constitution and the basic Rights therein!

What does this say about America and the Morals that made her shine for so long? We are still here, and we are paying attention with open eyes and ears. America doesn't care for the over polarization of political figures, we want our political figures to attain the morals and standards that were expected by the forefathers and all of those who fought and died in uniform. America's strength is in America's FREEDOM, and our resolve is in our RIGHTS. Please stop abusing the rights that make this great nation what it is. Don't continue to taint the free lives of a few just to appease the political predators appetite. Try common sense for a change and a little integrity, if any is left in you. Yes, Mr. Letterman you went just a little overboard, but I bet that the Palin family will forgive you, it's the rest of America you should worry about.
