When considering the use of a professional matchmaker, there are many questions which need to be posed which will help that search to be much more successful. Chances are that you have run out of ideas or that you find yourself in a period of your life where your social life has dried up. Perhaps everyone you know is married, leaving you feeling that perhaps you need the help of a professional to get you onto the right course. Matchmakers have one thing you don't. They have a whole book of numbers and within those numbers a lot of personalities which may just suit your needs and be a lot more successful than your outdated little black book. If you approach this in the right manner, you really can make the most of their expertise.

*Looking into your reasons.
*Looking at why you cannot find that special person alone.
*Deciding what you are looking for.
*Describing yourself.
*Find out about the matchmaker.
*Signing on the dotted line.
*Learning to complain.

Looking into your reasons.

There may be many reasons why you believe a professional matchmaker can help you. Perhaps you have friends who have used their services successfully. Maybe you have had bad experiences of relationships or feel that this is the only way for you to meet new people.

The reasons you ask for the help of a matchmaker need to be clear in your mind. What is it that stops you from being able to find someone on your own terms? Perhaps your social life isn't what is could be or you are a little afraid of stepping out of your safety net into trying to make things work through chance meeting.

As well as self examination, tell the Matchmaker what brings you to ask for their services. Getting to know them and letting them get to know you helps them to decide which characters would compliment yours. The more they know, the easier their work.

Looking at why you cannot find that special person alone.

Your reasons may include having to face up to your own foibles and faults. Do you set your sights too high? Do you give as much as you wish to receive? Why don't relationships with others work? By taking an honest look at yourself, you can make many of those reasons stepping stones towards being a more susceptible person when the matchmaker finds someone they feel is suitable to you.

Most people who have failed relationships also have the emotional baggage which stops them from finding their perfect match. If you go to a matchmaker with this baggage in tow, chances are that the success rate will be every bit
