Did I really mean it? I don't know what to say,
It seemed so natural and I'd do it again.
Don't ask if there was meaning in the things I have done,
I did what I wanted and those things can't be undone.
When you took my hand on that lonely night
You banished the darkness, brought me to life.
But I am careless, maybe I grew too blind
Or maybe I'm reckless and can't be confined...
Please don't ask me if I'm not in love.
I stood there with you, isn't that enough?
I know that at times it has been tough...
Words are failing, but to words I succumb.
It's like I am sleeping, like I've been lost in a dream,
Lost for a lifetime in the light that you bring.
I've no excuses, at least none you want to hear.
Your tears are the music and they sound more sincere.
Please stop asking because I don't know.
The questions are twisted, the answers are wrong.
I've never hated the love you shared,
There was just nothing like it in the heart I bear...
I'm not Prince Charming. I never will be.
I'm someone lost in things I have never seen
And with every passing day I yearn for more,
There's a world that is waiting for me to explore.
I don't want to be the man of your dreams
Since the lies would be obvious and hard to believe.
I didn't come to crawl back in your life...
I only came to say one thing.
I want to say goodbye.

Bring me my slippers and bring me my pipe
I'm off to retirement, had enough of the hype
Turn on the television and pour
by Sierra White
I cannot say,
It won't come out,
I wish it were far away,
But the time has come,
For us to part,
And I'll just sob and
The time is here to leave this place, never to return.
Everyone, they make mistakes, and this is how they learn.
The struggles
Petals wade through air
Something more permanent remains:
Leaves
But everlasting are the roots
That we grew here
Together.
Don’t
It wasn't working for you but I was content
It wasn't good enough, so away I went
You lied about us and the way I made you
