Being in love with a soldier who has faced combat is not for women-dare I say-who are faint at heart! The love of a combat soldier is earned, not given easily. It takes a woman with perception, and a commanding presence to love a man, with such a tempered emotional disposition. Any woman who dares to love such a soldier must be emotionally and intellectually alert, but most of all a nurturer-pillar of strength- wrapped into one Teflon package.
These attributes are worn like a cloak of armor, without them, the unprepared woman, will hit the fortress around his heart, and believe meit's a fortress made of brick and mortar. Only the attributes mention above, and time can permeate beyond those layered walls. My advice-get with program from the word go! That said-you will be well on your way to the next level-which of course-is intimacy! Not just physical intimacy, but the heartfelt kind, adorned with unbelievable passion and emotional bonding. For a man who's faced combat, and has become introverted emotionally, intimacy is an absolute must have!
Intimacy-is the one thing a man, who has faced combat, needs and wants very desperately. After this revelation my E.I (Emotional Intelligence) kicked into full gear. What this gentleman needed from me most-was my intimacy Acknowledgement of this fact allowed him to escort me through his thoughts and psyche without judgment. Before long, we both realized that we kept each other great company, and we had become the best of friends. Shortly afterwards-the inevitable happened! After becoming the best of friends, we became the best of lovers. Surprisingly-one evening, his deepest emotions emerged from the brick curtain, and expressed verbally and physically how he felt. This moment was beyond pivotal and phenomenal.
That same night, he slept with me cloaked tightly in his arms, as he whispered very sternly, and softly in my ear. I love you-and I need you in my life! Simultaneously he cloaked me tightly in his chest, tucked my pillow-whispering softly again, your world is safe on my watch! At that very moment, I made a startling revelation. I had just been, dressed right dressed in love, and being in love with my combat soldier motivated me to be his Emotional Rock, or rather his Emotional Army of One- not only is this important, but pertinent for a man who's faced combat! Be advised that I am on the money with this one!
