Stranger
Stranger of the night,
How I call you in the light,
Barely breathing by your sight,
Stranger of the night,
How I long to be by your side,
Hand in hand we go along the ocean tide,
Stranger of the night,
Say that I might,
Be along with you tonight,
Stranger of the night,
Look all around,
You are not upon the ground,
Stranger of the night,
How my soul cries in vain,
Could I be insane by loving you?
Stranger...
Stranger of the night?

Poetry: Strangers
Here I am-just me
No interruptions.
Pleased to meet you, hand extended.
Here you stand;
you are somebody,
you’re going
Strangers
Be wary of strangers we are taught
Talking to strangers a last resort
We teach our children to do the same
Only
by L D Redmond
Children, ever talk to strangers.
Now children, listen very carefully
for I have something to say.
It's very important you
The world is full of strangers
People you don't know
Or care about
This street was once your
Full of people you would greet
But
by Laura Hurst
Sleep peacefully as you have done before
Its shadow cast upon your door
A figure of evil in darkness creeps
looms over bed
