Man figured out pretty early in the dating game that bonking his lady fair over the head with a club was not the best way to insure that his love interest would return his affections so since virtually the dawn of time courtship, flirtation, and seduction are the tools that man has used in his quest to secure a mate. 

Man learned to work diligently to seduce his lady into standing by his side. Women have loved this method of courtship ever since. So why do women love being seduced by men? Why do women continue to be completely enchanted by man's attempts to entice them into an intimate love encounter?

It is a simple fact of relationships: women love being seduced by men.

There are a few reasons as to why women love being chased, pampered, preened and teased into a relationship. The largest factor perhaps being that of the stereotypical role figures that men and women have endured over the ages. Women are typically the keeper of the family, chaste and virtuous, they ensure that the family remains intact through stability. Women must be honorable and respectable until her union occurs while a man must sow his wild oats. Women are looked down on if they sleep around while men are not. It is the strength of these old images and teachings that insures that women still do not want give up their virtue easily.

Being seduced by her man, allows her to maintain her chaste image, while still being able to fulfill her desires. This courtship ritual takes away the pressure of feeling guilty for her actions. So in theory it is only when a woman is seduced to the point that it is beyond her power to refuse the male's magnetic sexual powers that she succumbs and become immoral. Of course this scenario no longer fits in within modern concepts, but the rituals, and their basis for reasoning remains. Women still do not want to give up their virtuous image by participating in a mans lustful wishes too easily.

Women are also still falling for the same old lines and rituals that have been used by men for centuries. Not only are they falling for them but they are literally loving every minute of the experience. Having a man pursue her as his love interest may have it's roots nestled in the survival of the fittest theory.

The woman that this male selects to mate with is chosen from all women as the one most worthy of seducing. So the harder he works to garner her affections then the more important or desirable she appears to be compared to the rest of her peers. He also fits
