It took our relatively young civilization 500 years to figure out kings, and the aristocracies that surround them are deathly hazardous to any society that has any chance of prosperity or happiness for the common man. Since this time, why then have we not figured out hereditary succession in our government and in our workforce is equally destructive, being one of the elements in pure monarchies that led to the revolutionary war? Position and title handed down to an individual or a family within an aristocracy are almost always never properly earned, and has never been in any example in our history. But yet we still allow it and know damn well it is wrong and as evidence by current events, to cause a society and in some cases the entire planet, great peril. The human mind is not conditioned for a position of leadership without first paying dues in the form of wisdom that only come with many years of painful experience, whereas after this period, one would be way less likely to make decisions that he himself had made in the past that were a mistake.
How many political figures in this country from aristocracies, similar to the nobles of king George, have no other means of running our government other than repeating what the popular trend is in our lobotomized media, or a slogan stolen from a popular radio talk show? When this is the case, as in our current society, wisdom, or knowledge, the things we as enlightened people, used to value more than almost anything else in our lives, are simply ignored or not understood. It is very hard to say which. Has our society lost it's collective ability to identify an act of pretended experience and wisdom from an act of sincere deliberation? The latter which always ends up having mostly positive results.
The question comes to mind on just how does one properly attain a position of influence properly? And how could laws be made to prevent hereditary succession in our government and our institutions where it matters most? This could be done by forcing anyone wishing to attain that position, to first go through all the same channels as anyone else, be it, from any class, had to go through. Another possibility, would be to have a random selection of electors, from all classes, non-related, and not affiliated with the individual, put him in that position. This would ensure leaders making delicate decisions had proper knowledge and experience and the less likely they would cause a grave danger to the world or an individual society. Proper education, and not from just expensive aristocratic schools, would play a role here as well.
As it stands, we are, and will continue to be subject to the decisions of individuals never having any need for knowledge, wisdom or skills and no business or place making decisions that affect the welfare of an entire nation or an organization. Aristocracies and dynasties must be kept at bay to prevent societies from collapsing in on themselves. When it becomes oblivious to us that we are rewarding the undeserving with possessions and wealth, no humans in history have ever needed simply on the basis of their own delusional belief that he or she has done something to deserve it, or a deranged idea that accumulating this is a point game they play with other aristocrats, then we will ourselves will be deserving of prosperity.
