Poetry: Misery

~Silent Tortures~

Haunting dreams

While searching for him

Drawing beads of sweat

Waking up with screams

Hoping he'd be right there

Reality sinks in once more

A heart breaking apart

Piece by piece

More than I can bear

Clutching at hope

Yearning to be the father

A son could ever want

Under the scope

Yet far away

Always in my heart

Intense desires

That all shall be perfect one day

These silent tortures shall end

Once he's finally located

When father and son

Together with time to spend.
