all within the realm of personal choice. You as an individual have the right to feel anyway that you choose. It you are angry, you are choosing to allow yourself to feel anger. That is your privilege as a free individual, one must assess whether or not those feelings of the anger and the actions taken as a result of those feelings, are productive to the overall goals within the individual life. If it is determined that those feelings are counterproductive to positive progress, the individual must be given the knowledge that they can choose how to feel. Certainly, it takes a lot of practice, and there are times when even the most well-meaning individual will slip back into negative behavior patterns but there is a remedy for this problem.
People with depression often become depressed because they cannot control the outcomes of certain situations. The lack of personal power in their own life causes them to become frustrated and then depressed. They look at the past and it is overwhelming when noticing how many mistakes they have made in their life. They continually replay negative events and circumstances until these events become obsessions. The obsessions hinder their ability to have any positive outlook for the future. Therefore it is essential that these individuals learn how to live in the moment. I was instructed that we must value only this second, because it is the only thing that we have 100 percent control over. In this moment I am fine. In this moment all is well. The past cannot be changed, no matter how much you want to go back in time and change the past, as of the writing of this article no machine allows such an occurrence. The future, is unlimited. The potential to become successful is infinite. The beginning of the future is this moment. Therefore, we each have the ability to change our life with each second that we live.
When a person with depression begins to understand that they have control over this moment, they start to see themselves as a potential success. The elevation in hold 10 contribute to the production of positive hormones. This will help to balance the brain in hormonal areas thus making an individual possible to live life without constant need of prescription medication. In no way am I saying that every individual that is taking medication for depression should consider stopping immediately. These people should consult with their doctors before making any decision, however drugs do not solve problems they only mask them until they stop working.
In my private practice, I have over 1200 clients many of whom have suffered with depression. Once they empower themselves with knowledge that they can control the moment, healing starts to develop within them. Some of these individuals have gone to traditional therapy sessions for more than a decade with no success. This is because that does not deal with the main practical behavior changes necessary for successful transition back to help healthy choices. If you are trying to help someone in your life overcome depression, witness to them about their own personal power and the ability to own life one-second at a time. You will see a dramatic positive change within just a few short months.
