Depending upon the theme that you choose some things you can pull out of your closets or junk piles at home. That's right! You just need to be creative. For instance, you are throwing a Robin Hood party for your five year old son. Hats are important, and they can easily be made from newspaper and some of that old paint you have left from painting your house last year. Or say you are planning a casino party for adults. You can change the look of your house or garage by hanging sheets to cover the walls. You can achieve a sheik casino like atmosphere. There are so many different ideas for birthday parties. You can have virtually any kind of theme you want as long as you research and try to make it as realistic as possible.

The party is only as fun as you make it. Even the food can be fun. Base your menu on the particular theme. Make it easy; serve finger foods or prepared foods which make it easy and less clean up.
Have the party of the year and make it memorable. Whether it is a birthday party for a child or an adult, everyone enjoys a party.
