Songs that pump you up in the gym

I certainly can't speak for everyone but one of the CDs that pump me up is the Earth, Wind, and Fire favorites. Just about every song on this particular CD is my favorite. Another CD I like is Madonna's most popular songs when she first became popular. I have an Elivis Presley CD with many of his songs on it and I love walking on the treadmill while listening to the King. I have a passion for all types of music anything from the older stuff to the music of today so if the tune makes me feel good, and the instrumental is good I'm working out to the music.

Music and working out seem to go hand in hand versus watching a T.V. show while exercising, with music before you know it an hour can go by when listening to your favorite songs. It's good to have your selection ready so your workout experience can be disturbance free.

Santana is excellent to workout to also. I love the instrumental in his music. Another older choice that is fun is Chicago, once again great instrumental. Easier going music is Stevie Wonder always a favorite of mine.

I feel that anything that a person likes will pretty much pump them up and get them motivated to work out. Whether it's country music, rap, the blues, or rock. People are different and some like only a certain style of music and they need to choose what they enjoy to get them going. I was introduced to many different types of music early on when my parents had me listen to an Italian Opera singer named Mario Lanza. When the Beatles became popular my love of the Beatles stuck with me thanks to my Mom and working out to their music is fun. Louis Armstrong playing La Vie En Rose when he plays that trumpet beautifully hypes me up. I can't leave out another favorite, the Doobie Brothers, who I went to see many times as a young girl.

When nSync became popular I bought their CD for my kids-me and love working out to their music. Bob Marley reggie music is another one that motivates me to walk longer on the treadmill. If you like the music you will work out longer. I don't think that it necessarily has to be the faster selections, sometimes tunes that are mellow and feel good to you are the answer. Elton John's music is really great, like Honky Cat for instance. John Mayer music is great and Billy Joel has a lot of wonderful songs. The Stranger is an excellent song, I enjoy how Billy Joel starts off the song by whistling and begins slowly and quickens the pace of the song.
