Put Me In Coach
I have a coach
Who has a winning team,
His Son on the cross
And Jacob who had a dream.
Daniel had his faith
When in the lions den,
With a team like this
No wonder they can win.
Put me in coach
I'm ready to come home,
I'm tired of the bench
I don't want to be alone.
Put me in coach
I'm ready to fill-in,
I'll hit that home run
You forgave me for my sin.
My coach is named God
He remains undefeated,
His Son is the umpire
His life was repeated.
I've read his game plan
That tells how to come home,
I am on His team now
I'll never be alone.
