Title: Three and a Half...

Wandering, wondering
Feeling his way
Searching, discovering
Day after day
Nothing to bother
No stress, no concern
Eternally playful
The world left to learn

Without an idea
Of dangers unseen
Surrounding depravity
Shielded and free
With seeming contempt
For a life lived with care
Scoffing at gravity
Leaping from chairs

My three foot reminder
Of daily life lessons
Like fulfilling joy
In a handful of raisins
May someday he understand
Lord, I pray that he sees
This adult I am raising
Is raising me
