After eight and half months of pregnancy, I was determined to lose all of my baby weight within only a few months. With much determination, a healthy diet and daily exercise, I was able to lose thirty five pounds within three months. It actually can be quite simple to become fit in a little amount of time. Yet, what defines being fit?
Firstly, being fit cannot be defined by weight or pant size.Fit is all about a healthy lifestyle. Of course by sustaining this lifestyle, you will ultimately drop the pounds and see a much leaner self. Fit is being active, making the right food choices and about the quality of life. Most of us are aware that staying within the weight range for our age and height is highly recommended from the medical community. Yet, weight is not always a predictor of health. There are many individuals that maintain a healthy weight regardless of their unhealthy eating habits and lack of exercise. Therefore, these individuals may experience more sickness in their lives. Fit according to many doctors is incorporating a balanced diet of nutritious foods and not empty calorie foods, abstaining from harmful activities such as excessive drinking and smoking and daily physical activity.
Now, how to get fit fast? You most begin a strict regime of a balanced diet which mainly consists of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and a lean protein. Next, you most begin to perform some sort of physical activity each day. This does not only include cardiovascular exercise, but utilizing weights (low weights for beginners).By maintaining a routine with weights, the body will burn calories more efficiently and you will begin to see results much quicker. You need to incorporate weights in your work out at least three times a week. Next, cardiovascular exercise can be any physical activity which mainly works the hamstrings and the quadriceps. By performing cardio for at least thirty minutes, four times a week, you not only will begin to see weight loss, but you will increase energy and stamina. If you are limited for time or you are looking to get fit in a very short period of time, increase the number of workouts or increase the intensity with cardio and weight training. But keep in mind, never do more than what your body is telling you. If you experience soreness or fatigue daily, rest at least one day or go back to a lighter work out.
Lastly, many trainers and bodybuilders have claimed that diet is essential to getting fit and creating a lean and strong body. Most experts believe forgoing soda, sugary and processed food and limiting saturated foods particularly red meat is essential to a fit lifestyle. You need to create a diet plan that keeps you energized, full and maintains a healthy weight. By staying strict to the new lifestyle of exercise and proper diet, you can see and feel the results immediately. Not only will your body change its shape, but you will begin a whole new attitude about life. But remember, being fit is not a number. It is about health, energy and physical capabilities.
