I grew up with three sisters coveting the latest fashion trends and prettiest makeup. That is why I went to school to become a makeup artist. I have been doing this for 4 years now, and I still love it. I wanted to share with you some of my most valuable natural makeup tips so that you can be looking your best!

It can be so easy to draw someone's attention to a particular feature on our face depending on how and where we apply makeup. For example my first tip:

Apply gold eye shadow in your Cupid's bow.

In other words, the dent in your top lip. When light hits the gold shadow it will make your lips stand out. So don't forget to add a pretty lip gloss!

Match colors to your skin tone.

When picking out a lip gloss or lipstick, remember that dark lips look better with more neutral or dark colors; While lighter colored lips look better with brighter colored lipsticks like light pinks and even bright reds. The same goes with eye shadow. If you have dark skin, choose gold toned shadows. If your skin is light, use rosy light colors or dark smoky colors. However, really intense crazy bright colors look good on just about everyone.

Apply white shadow or liner to the inner corners of your eyes

This makes your eyes look a bit wider and creates a very chic sexy look. To make your eyes stand out even more, apply dark shadow or liner to the outer corners of your eyes. This is my favorite look. You can jazz it up even more by creating the smoky eye look by applying dark eye shadow around your entire eye.

When working with more than one shade of eye shadow always put the darker shade in the crease just above your eyelid.

This defines the shape of your eye.

Apply a white or barely lighter than flesh colored shadow to the arch in your eyebrow.

This will give your brows a natural lift and looks very sexy.

Change the shape of your nose with concealer

Use your finger to apply two lines of a concealer just a bit darker than your skin color down the sides of the bridge of your nose. This makes your nose appear smaller and not as wide. It works wonders! If you have a bump on your nose you can use a darker concealer to cover up that spot and the area surrounding it, while leaving the rest of your nose a lighter color.

These are my top 5 makeup tips that a girl can't live without. They are simple, but really go far in achieving a natural beautiful look.
