The world today is different from what I had known in the olden times when I was still a kid. Back then we had no television and nothing like the computer, cell phones, PSP and all the electronic gadgets that are available today to entertain the kids. We were contented playing with leaves of trees, flowers, insects and things that our parents could afford to buy for us to play with. But we were very happy with our simple life and we did not ask for more from our parents.

Today, even the little kids are exposed to violence in the world of entertainment. Everyday news on television is about all kinds of violence going on around the world. And it is sad to note that many parents nowadays do not care what their children watch on television not to mention all the video games that they play that demonstrate violence of all types. It is not anymore a problem to parents if their children are playing violent video games. Many people have adapted violence in television, games and movies as a normal part of everyday life. Some parents think that children must be exposed about the realities in life and that they must know that violence and all types of crimes are real.

Even very young children are playing violent video games and nobody is minding them because the video games are now part of a child's everyday entertainment just like the television. If you see what young children are watching, it is all about fighting each other and war in order to gain power. They see all kinds of crimes and violence being demonstrated on television, movies and video games, that they think this is the reality in life and that it is normal to commit crimes because they see their movie idols doing them on movies and video games.

Even cartoon movies are now infested with violence and all unpleasant things and children are being affected with what they are watching and seeing around them. Young people are becoming more violent and they are harder to discipline today. If you are an adult and you want to be concerned with what young people are doing to other people, you will think twice because they might turn their wrath in you. In the olden days, you could just stare hard at the young people and they crawl in their shells. Today, it is the older people who are scared of what the young people could do to them.

Why did people change a lot from the usually abiding people to unruly people? This change is the result of violence in entertainment that people see everyday. Violence is becoming worse everyday and children look at violent movies and video games like normal events in real life. It is too distressing but people cannot do anything to stop the entertainment industry from stopping these kinds of entertainment. The only thing that people could do is to teach their children at home about good values so that they will know that violence in movies and video games is not normal.
