I beckon thee sweet Death
Deliverance from anguish and pain
This cruel journey of love
that was all in vain
*
Relinquish all pretense
Though I call you by name
Embracing your darkness
Abjuring the day; here I remain
*
My journey has ended
No more turn of the page
The chapter bled out
Only sorrow sustains
*
Cloak me in thy silence
Eternal rest I beseech thee
No words no recompense
Deliver me burden free
*
Rest well weary hearted
You lived full and true
Your mission aborted
I bid thee adieu

hours, turn, into day
Blindly tunneling, to dark
heart leads,
