Poetry: Sheep

Did you hear
What the sheep
Was saying
To the man of life

He said
I have no words
To sound
Of complaint

I was born
In partnership
With life

Just making sure

When you need

And all I can say
As part of
That partnership

Of going
About things

With respect
And care
For all concerned

I too don't
Like being hurt
In my feelings
Which I can't show

I may be a
Sensitive sheep

But every soul
Brings feelings

To water
The flowers
Of humanity

To give
The colors
To creation
That it deserves
