Why Christians are not perfect

We all have a tendency to become an observer in people, when we experience and learn the qualities or standards they have trained themselves to withhold. We become an observer when our hearts and minds tell us over and over again that these attributes are uncrossable. These attributes could entail religious beliefs, extreme sports, or relationships that have stood a length of time. If you choose to be the listener or observer with Christianity, sooner or later you begin to realize that these individuals still struggle with addictions, battles and relationships as does anyone else. Whether goals fail, or addictions knock on our door, we all have to realize that in fact, life isn't a yellow-brick road, Christian or not.

We were born into a world that is bent bad, and it is our responsibility on this journey to recapture this abducted heart. This is what Christianity entails, and because of this, it doesn't mean that Christians are perfect, it means that we are given resources and guidance for when life gets complicated and confusing. We all have one heart and one mind, which makes an equal chance of all of us having to deal with struggles. The resources that Christians are given such as bible versus, prayer, willing to surrender our hearts, commitment, and steadfast courage, allow for the understanding of trials and events, but to those that are merely observers, these commitments soon become a hazey thought that causes them to think that Christians are perfect.

We are all on a mythic journey with our hearts to find a treasure, which was rightfully ours, but our enemy has stolen it from right underneath our feet. We find this treasure by listening to the whispers in our hearts, and acting upon them. We all have decisions and choices to make, but it's what were all acting on that distinguishes us from everyone else. When we decide to act on the thoughts of our hearts, there is a state of surrender. When we surrender our hearts, we need personal guidance. This guidance comes from bible verses and prayer. This is a personal commitment that you must choose to follow.

Christianity is focused around personal choices and commitments, but these commitments may sway, and personal judgements can weaken. Because of this, Christians are not perfect, but rather strive for the best things in life, while having to be prepared to surrender all that we have gained at any point in time.
