Poetry: Let him

by Jo Anne-Patricia Piccarillo

Created on: June 15, 2009

Will somebody please define "cheating" for me...
does it have to be taken to a physical degree?
Or does even one's words breech an unwritten decree?
Lately I've been asking myself why you take advantage of...
my love,
my trust,
my devotion.
It's always the same motion...
we're up together
and down apart...
you leave too much space between me and your heart.
