Exactly what did America want from Obama is maybe the actual question at hand. Either way it is a question that must be answered before determining whether or not America got it! If America wanted a "straddle the fence administration," well, we got what we asked for.

But what we expected was change in Washington; what we got was merely a change in shifts. We wanted a change in American morals and more ethical progress; instead we seem to be going further in the direction of immoral spending and regulating, the whole while bailing out the billionaire lobbyist who joined up with organizations such as ACORN to get Mr. Obama elected in the first place.

America wanted less taxes; America did not get it! America wanted less government; America did not get it! America wanted energy independence; America hasn't got it! Democrats and Liberals wanted an old character with a new face; Washington got it!

Let's be honest with ourselves: we wanted to be motivated, no matter to what outcome, the simple idea of Change; a dream, as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. so eloquently orated in the fifties and sixties. America has wanted Change for decades, but what Obama has offered so far is the same old partisan politics that has crippled our society, government, and economy for decades, not to even mention the outlook that the world has on the United States. Mr. Obama, we did not get what we wanted; we are unsatisfied. Popularity and Productivity are two totally different things, Mr. President.

Before we know it, four years will have come and gone and election fever will strike the heartland once again. The American people will once again be faced with a difficult decision; do we want another Hollywood President whose smile and smooth talk are the only credentials needed, or do we want real change, freedom, and free will.

We the People demand to be represented in the same urgency as we are taxed. We deserve to have Real Change in the United States of America and once attained we may see Real Change in the world. If we the American people cannot trust our elected officials with the very rights our sons and daughters give their lives for each and every day on the battlefield and off the battlefield, they live and die for the very freedoms we take for granted.

We want! We are a nation of constant "want". Greed has consumed us as a nation and we seem to be naive and easily deceived, but we are not stupid! Even those who supported Obama the strongest are wondering where in the world is the BILLIONS of bailout money going to come from and where the hell is my portion!

What we want Mr. President is our nation back, our freedom back, less government, and equal rights among all citizens, because thanks to you, Mr. President, race is no longer an issue, for you have leveled the playing field. Let's start being fair with each other, respect each other, and truly be the greatest nation on the face of the planet.

May God bless our President and may God bless the United States of America. May God bless you. Good evening.
