The advantages of using water to power your car

When it comes to water-powered cars, there are skeptics, strong believers, and every point of view in between. Some people claim it can't be done, while others say they are already enjoying the benefits of a water-powered car.

Environmentally speaking, almost nobody debates the fact that a water-powered car would help reduce oil and gas usage and be better for the environment than traditional gas and diesel cars.

Aside from being environmentally friendly, there are many advantages to you if you choose to pursue this route. Here are a few of them.

1. Increased gas mileage
With a water-powered car, you can improve your gas mileage. One system purports to give you a 35% better gas mileage with its system, in both city and highway driving conditions. This could save you $800 or more in fuel costs each year, depending on your car and driving habits. If you own multiple vehicles, the savings could grow rapidly, and if you have a company with many drivers, the savings this could provide are obvious.

2. No exhaust
If you are tired of exhaust from your car filling your garage and house and polluting the freeways, consider this: cars powered by water would eliminate the problem entirely. In fact, they would reportedly actually add oxygen to the environment.

3. Better engine power and performance
The companies working on water-powered alternatives have said that engine power and performance is reduced as you use more and more gas. By using water instead, you would enhance your engine power and notice a better performance from your car. Your engine's operations and gear shifts would improve due to the effect of water on your engine's combustion cycle.

4. Longer life expectancy from your car
With this effect on your engine's power and performance, it follows naturally that the parts of your car such as the pistons and valves would last longer, and thus save you money in the long run when your car runs for longer without needing maintenance or replacement.

The viability of water power and H20-powered cars is widely debated. As yet, water power has not gone mainstream, but some people have successfully converted their cars to water energy and extol the benefits of doing so.

As always, it's wise to do plenty of research into the pros and cons of water as an alternative or supplementary fuel, and try to seek unbiased sources when looking to modify your car drastically. You might just find huge savings and better performance in the form of water power!
