Poetry: Sometimes

by Brad Anderson

Created on: June 14, 2009

SOMETIMES

A wisp of smoke

there. Vanishes.

Each toke,

breathe in.

Exhale.

Like the years spin

by.

I wonder

sometimes.

Out yonder,

in this life line.

Yesterdays,

can't be mine.

My story,

can not be edited.

Each moment of glory

always treasured.

Every chapter

undoubtly measured

by life long questions,

wondering why

sometimes.

Time I cannot buy

to change some.

Breathe deep,

hold on

this life I keep,

'til to the next life.
