Countless have a love for America, but why? Why is this love for America so great with such a large number of lovers? Some may say this is a question that is very easily answered. Many would say something like; it's because we are a country of freedom, we live in a country that grants its citizens freewill, and we are given all the opportunity in the world, but I tend to disagree with these people. Yes, these things make our country appear great, but several people love America because America is America, and it's all they know, they don't recognize the actual potential we comprise of.

People are only looking at the very surface of everything. They see what is labeled as freedom, freewill, and a great country, but they don't realize that what they are seeing is lacking of what it really could be. We could be so much more. Our freedom is limited, our freewill, even if used in a way that does not endanger safety of others, still has consequences, and a government which is suppose to be ran by our people, does nothing but lie and deceive those who grant it power. It does what it wants, it cares not one bit for those who give it power, it cares only enough to keep it's power, and does everything else for its own benefit.

Americans are out of touch with the possibilities. It's almost as if we are blind. The 60's were a time where people understood that they controlled everything; they would not let the government get away with taking advantage of the ones who actually supplied the power. In the 60's they fought because they knew the potential, they understood what freedom really was, how freewill should be treated, and how America is supposed to be. Now people just sit back and enjoy America how it is, full acceptance no matter the case. I suppose many complain, but no one steps up to try to make a change, we just sit back and try to make it more enjoyable with our materialistic lifestyles. Americans love America because they don't understand the true meaning of America.
