French Fries the American favorite food. Children search them out for there hot dogs and hamburgers. Who needs to deep fry when you have an oven. What a way to cut calories as well and have added flavor. Fries can be served with all different kinds of foods. Add a little spice to them for added flavor and color. Now how to make fast and simple French fries in the oven.

Fast fries for the oven.

Large cookie sheet that is covered with foil and sprayed with Butter spray or olive oil

1 large bag of frozen French fries spread in a single layer on cookie sheet

Lowery's season salt, sprinkle on top after spraying with oil or butter spray

Butter spray or olive oil- spray a thin coating on fries

Put fries in a preheated oven and bake for 25-35 min. Turning once if needed. Serve hot with your favorite Ketchup. Variations for the Lowery's season salt. When I cook fish and serving French fries I add Dill instead. We have also used onion and garlic powder when cooking steak and sweet basil and Rosemary when cooking chicken on the fries for an added bonus.

A simple way for Fresh Fries in the oven.

Pre heat your oven to 375

Take about 1 potato per person and wash and cut in French Frie shape or dice in 1 in chunks. Now you may leave on the skins or take them off depending on your preference. Put in Water to soak. In a large plastic bag put in 2 tsp of flour per potato used and add to it a pinch of salt some garlic powder and onion powder and a bit of ground rosemary, or thyme, basil, dill (depending on the meat you are cooking). Drain your potatoes and shake in mixture. On a foil covered cookie sheet spay with olive oil put your potatoes in a single layer. Now put in the oven and cook for about 25-35 min turning once. Serve hot with your favorite Ketchup.
