Perfection

Hidden behind a perfect smile
Blind to the truth, a neverending trial
With perfect vision I see grace
Only to find it has no face
Perfection

A perfect heart filled with rapture
Blinded by the lust and anger
With perfect hands to have and to hold
Only to find you've already let go

A perfect voice, sounds of assurance
Hidden behind the screams of violence
With perfect trust I believed in you
Only to find trust made me the fool

A perfect soul, eminent of life
Hidden behind the pleas of mine
With perfect faith I look for answers
Only to find that it doesn't matter

A perfect life, filled with love
Hidden behind a darken shroud
With perfect devotion I seek you out
Only to find neverending doubt
