I strolled in the shade shop
And started to browse
At least one thousand styles
That made me gasps wows.
I was lost amongst a sea
Of glasses staring right at me
The names were strange but
Seemed arranged
By popularity.
A real cool chick
Who knew the trick
To help me find my cool
Knew I was no fool
She smiled sweet and
Said come over her with me
I stared at her and then the
Wall with complete confusion
She showed me frames
That creates illusions
That's sounded great so
I said okay but
One she said is not enough
She handed me another
A have to have' style I guess
She's right since I didn't know
So I said okay to them
Thinking I was done
But that was wishful thinking
According to this cutie pie
Some white shades
Were in order
The style looked great
Upon my face
This sweetie assured me
I remember I came in
To find my cool
My little browse
Got caught up in the wows
Okay, she says
What next I wonder
We have covered the Italian styles,
Now She chimes with
A great big smile.
Just one more made
In the USA will complete
Your order.
I found myself at the check
Out counter
A great deal the
Little chickie says
Only twelve hundred fifty dollar
I stuttered a bit and tried not to holler
Will this be cash or charge?
I handed over my card
Wondering what had happened.
