are not the strange people that sit in a diner late at night and scream at their dinner. We have police officers and astronauts, mayors and congressmen, presidents and business owners. In fact, so many people have seen and recorded these strange flying craft that now most of the world believes that intelligent life is visiting us. They leave us clues in crop circles and strange devices they leave behind, both inside of our bodies and in and on our land, (such references being the Dropa Stones, the Klerksdorp Spheres, and so on). As we rapidly advance to their level, it would appear that they are interested in how we are evolving. If abductions by aliens are true, perhaps they are seeing just how well their genetic creation is working out. Much like we would do if we made a race of Dolly the Sheep and set them out in a pasture. We would check up on them, test them medically, and set them back into the herd.
In conclusion, I offer you the words of wisdom I have grown up with: "The most simplest answer is usually the right one." Thus, if the question is "what are our origins?" then I would go with the general scientific answer of "a cross between a great chimpanzee and some other human ancestor" (quoted from the Wikipedia page on Chromosome 2), and say that if we have amphibian traits, and our ancestors say that we were made by reptilian "gods" using their DNA, that this is most likely the truth. One thing to keep in mind...the only difference between ancient man and us today is our level of technological advancement. If 10 thousand years from now humans find texts claiming that a man named Hitler started a war that brought the whole world into it, or that a man named Gandhi changed the world in his time because of his pacifist ways, should they consider us a people that made up fantastic stories that were most likely made from an overactive imagination? If you say no, then perhaps we should give our ancestors credit and believe that what they say is the truth to the best of their knowledge. And if there is truth to what they say, then we humans, as a species, have one amazingly interesting history. And if it is true, perhaps Nibiru and the Annunaki will come visit us soon. After all, geologist who have studied the Earth claim there have been both minor and great changes to the Earth every 3500-3700 years. And the last one was about 3600 years ago.
