Hades & Eurydice
I bring you everything; I bring you solitude & space
I give you the things that I long for which you throw back in my face
I bring you tapestries woven from unravelled dreams
I bring you back words from the mountain on tablets of Diamorphine
But still you want more, you want emotions I cannot feel
You demand unbridled affection, the love of an imbecile
I bring you everything; all that I can give
I draw you water from the Lethe for you to quench your thirst to live
I give you ghosts to stop you from feeling alone
I bring you the tears of the children, uncherished & carved out of stone
And still you want more, you demand like a petulant child
You spurn the protection I offer, all for the chance to run wild
I bring you everything; I offer infinity
I bring you the wisdom of hindsight, an end to uncertainty
I bring you everything, all these things & more
I offer safety from existence across the Styx's darkened shores
Yet still you want more, in a constant pleading voice
You want your charity gift-wrapped in the colour of your choice
So go back to him; this fickle lover called life
It's just a whim, just a fancy; it will be through in a trice
When he mistreats you, when it's over & you're cast aside
There will still be a place for you, lying with me as my bride
And I'll bring you everything

I have desired life all my given years
As I sat next to death on a ringside seat;
Watched the players, one by one, disappear

Heaven's Door
He walked up to this Heaven's
During his journey he paused to give thought
He’d travelled so far and needed a rest
He thought of the good times

The Journey
Rising seven springs unite, bringing life to see
Meanders caressing banks his nooks and crannies
Gliding over familiar
by Kendra Allen
How faint the line which now divides
A person's life and death;
No louder than a heartbeat's song
Or deeper than a breath.
