Conservation is often known as an act to protect or preserve a sustainable amount of recyclable and non-recyclable natural resources. These resources can range from wildlife and plant life, to water and minerals. The needs of conservation are usually dealt with when there are issues such as cultural or economic reasons involved. The use of plants for food and medical conditions are exceptional examples for reasons conservation could be enacted. I believe that conserving energy is important because it prevents large scale damage on the environment.
Solar electricity is currently produced by several different types of systems that collect energy from the sun, which works by using a number of mirrors or lenses to heat a working fluid to high temperatures. The most common solar collection device is a panel or what is known as a plate of black metal. This also absorbs the sun's energy. According to reports, Active solar heating is used primarily for heating water; whether for household use or for swimming pools. The heat absorbed by the solar collector is transferred to a fluid inside the panel, which is then pumped to the heat exchanger, where the heat is transferred to water that will be stored in the hot water tank.
Solar domestic water heating, provide a family with hot water year-round. The challenge with using solar electricity is getting consumers to use it on a larger scale. Biomass Fermentation is the usage of turning farmland scraps, such as dead leafs from corn and other plant leftovers into fuel. According to the video, the challenge with using Biomass Fermentation is getting farmers to collect the leftovers after harvesting their plants.
Geothermal energy, the natural heat within Earth, rises from the Earth's core, from friction along continental plate boundaries and from the decay of radioactive elements. The amount of geothermal energy is enormous. Scientists estimate that just one percent of the heat contained in the uppermost 10 km of Earth's crust is equivalent to 500 times the energy contained in all of Earth's oil and natural gas resources. A non renewable energy resource includes coal, oil and natural gas.
A non renewable energy resource includes oil and natural gas.
Oil and Natural Gas are caused by the burning and transporting of them. Like coal, burning oil and natural gas produces deadly Carbon that is thought to contribute to global climate warming. According to reports, burning oil also leads to acid deposition and the formation of photochemical smog. Oil combustion produces nitrogen oxides. This is a nonmetallic element that occurs as a colorless odorless almost inert gas and makes up four fifths of the Earth's atmosphere by volume.
