Fake Rolex schemes on the Internet

When you look around on the streets and online you may see people with name brand things. A popular watch is Rolex, because it is a watch that people envy there has become an increasing number of people and companies producing fake Rolex watches. The fakes are amazing reproductions of the real watch, with the same design and functions as the real ones and available at half the cost.

With the ever improving technology the times of having watches that are hard to replicate is a thing of the past. This is a great thing for people that envy Rolex's and do not mind if the Rolex they purchase is fake or not. But it becomes a problem when a fake Rolex dealer is passing them off as secondhand Rolex's; because the replicas are so hard to spot from the real Rolexes.

Now like most people that read this article and myself, I am sure you are wondering how to spot a replica. Well number one thing is to make sure you purchase from an authorized and licensed Rolex dealer. It would a wise thing to always educate yourself when making a large purchase that is easy to replicate. But when you are shopping and you think the item may be a replica, you should look for several tell tale signs.

Several of the signs to look for are small things that should be compared to a real Rolex watch. First look for the size of the numbers and hands of the watch. These are normally not the right size. Also the letter on the face plate of the watch on cheap replicas is messed up a lot. One of the most obvious signs of a replica is on the back of the watch; the sticker that is on the original Rolex's is a hologram which means that it will change at different angles that you view the watch. Fake reproductions normally have a flat unchanging image.
Another tells tale sign of a fake is the crystal bubble right above the date on the watch. The crystal ball is on both fakes and the original. It is placed there to magnify the date, but the real one magnifies it 2.5 times while the fake only magnifies it 1.5 times.

While it may still be hard to tell that a replica Rolex is fake, you can lessen the risk with knowledge of the watch and a little bit of work.
