Poetry: Heartbreak

Charles was a delicious piece of beef cake.

I purely went on an innocent date,
The end is one of ripping heartbreak.
I love you; endearing soul forever,
Mouth's words sweetly-bitterly, gently severed.
I've been a good girl; all my life,
I would have made a loving wife.
I wasn't like all the others;
My breath now weak, smothered.

Where is my soul, if it is not within?

I'm left alone not knowing; where to begin.
An ending never physically dared,
Forever in my heart; despair!
I feel hollow space; a gaping hole,
Hope's eyes eternally full of one heart's soul.
I'm strong a woman; self confident, care,
Beauty's exterior a twosome- quite an empty pair.

I went blindly blissfully to "The Rock",
This is where I thieved Love's stock!
I returned to my land a broken foreigner,
Since life has held an empty mourner.
I'm not who you inconsiderately tossed,
My soul hangs on a rigid wooden cross!
I've worked to my fingers bone; so in history,
I will be infamously known.

You were a dark shadow shining bright,
Of this my Love's spirit; took your guiding light.
Your eyes, fancying my steaming skirt,
Empty Lust's strife blowing coldly upward and curt.
Charles, returned blissfully home,
Tears in my eyes, I'm all alone!
My spirit is adrift with blazing blame,
Burning hands hold a bloody heart of shame.

Heaven holds your manhood's rod;
I stand alone, and courageously bold!
A Peter Pan boyish man,
I will always your fondest fan.
Please, summon me to your throne;
My ears will hear the trumpets call home.
Wanting this place to be with you;
Days of joy spacing way too few!

Total heartbreak, I cannot take,
I purely went on an innocent date.
It's out there for the eyes of World;
To watch love's teary emotions hurl!
Please, Charles, Please!
See; I'm on cold ground with sorrow knees.
Please Charles; please, simply retrieve!
Then my heart will feel no need.

In my soul love is not "FORGOTTEN",
One day might bring your legs a trot-ten.
Charles, spread your wings;
Fondly set a sail in sky of blue.
My puritan spirit fly a new,
Always stay contagiously true.
While the stream of my moonlit tears,
Shed a single Heartbreak's endless tale.
